no real idea, just throwing it out there, but lidar might be tweaked enough to penetrate a few inches maybe a foot, and maybe you could use it to excavate virtually. or use some of the lidar tech with ground penetrating radar, the “translation from what is detected to how detailed it is shown”
i think leaving the fossiles is a good sound forward thinking idea, but… i really want to see more!!! and more!!!
Rick? has this whole thing made you want to get formal education in any particular field?
sometimes, when thinking of h. naledi, i think that if Florence had a hobbit, maybe now we have gollum!
…and… id just like to know IF Lucy, or Neo looked up at the stars. or even when people started looking up at the stars (i mean that as in wonder) what animals actually look up at stars?

I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and amusing, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is an issue that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I found this in my search for something regarding this.

Can I just say what a comfort to find a person that genuinely knows what they’re discussing over the internet. You definitely understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More and more people need to look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you’re not more popular since you surely possess the gift.
